Michigan organizations are invited to send green teams and green team leaders to a half-day summit on Thursday, March 21 at John Ball Zoo in Grand Rapids to learn from their peers, access training from leading sustainability experts, and celebrate their work.

The Green Team Summit will feature teams and representatives from 20 organizations that will share best practices, key initiatives, and green team projects. Modeled after a successful annual event organized each year by Consumers Energy for its green teams, the summits have proven to enhance green team outcomes and empower new site-specific and company-wide projects.

The program will feature a series of presentations from seven sustainability experts, interactive table exercises and an opportunity for teams to share their projects and earn recognition.

The summit is $25 per person, which includes lunch and afternoon refreshments. Organizations are encouraged to sign up as teams. A limited number of individual professionals will be accepted.
